Jai and Ayanna began their ministry journey as a married couple on March 6, 2022. 

Jai, a native of Boston, Massachusetts, came to Virginia by way of collegiate athletics attending Virginia Wesleyan University where he studied Economics. He furthered his education at Old Dominion University, majoring in Music Education. Jai is a community, business and ministry leader who uses his leadership grace to influence and motivate people for The Kingdom of God within the marketplaces of life. Licensed in 2010 and ordained in 2016, he has served in many capacities within the body of Christ as Director of Worship Arts, Executive Elder and Assistant Pastor Elect.

Ayanna, a native of The Bronx, New York accepted her call to ministry upon graduating from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Child Studies. She was licensed as a minister of the Gospel at Standing On The Promises Of God Church in 2004. She furthered her call-in ministry by attending Samuel Dewitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University where she received her Master’s of Divinity in 2008. In 2022, Ayanna was ordained as a Prophet at Upon This Rock World Ministries. Jai and Ayanna share the same passion to see The Gospel reached to the utter most parts of the world. Jai has traveled to Uganda Africa to minister and share with pastoral leadership teams, their churches and the villages within their local communities. Jai is passionate about teaching and exhibiting Kingdom principles through discipleship and believes, at his core, that they should be manifested in the believer’s everyday life. Upon acceptance of her missionary call to the Nations, Ayanna served as a missionary in South Africa, Zambia, Israel, Uganda, India, and Kenya. It is when she placed her feet in these countries where her passion continued to burn for discipleship to reach all people. Ayanna is a Seer and Teacher. As overseer of Upon This Rock Discipleship Classes, you will hear her heart burn for the lost and rally for authentic, holistic transformation through ongoing discipleship training.

Jai and Ayanna are Co-Founders of FreedomReigns International Ministries, whose mission is to make disciples for The Kingdom of God and to work with the Global Body of Christ in developing, sending and supporting missionaries that teach The Gospel in every country. They’ve had the opportunity to lead their first team of Pastors on an exploratory mission trip to Ghana in 2023. As they walk in leadership together their heart’s desire and passion are to see every soul saved, transformed, healed and restored through the love of Christ by way of discipleship in The Kingdom of God that expands beyond physical walls. Jesus had one message “Repent, for The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.” We believe, with our entire heart, that this centralized message is THE clarion call to change one’s mind and to turn away from sin, as the divine realm is accessible & within each disciple of Jesus Christ. Our heart is to see Our Kingdom come and His will being done on earth as it is in Heaven.
